Normally I am not one to go out of my way and provide negative feedback to this extent but today I make an exception:
Corsair's product is low priced, which is nice. I bought the drive to expand the memory in my surface pro tablet (its actually compatible AND recommended by Microsoft ... which should of been my first warning sign.
On first attempt, I cloned the drive and expanded the partition. Worked great for several hours until the first blue screen error
The bluescreens persisted to the point where I lost count. At Corsair's recommendation, I completed a fresh installation of windows. When the setup completed and it was time to login to the new unit, the errors persisted.
I verified firmware was up to date, software was up to date, and ran diagnostic tests to rule out the processor and/or memory from being the culprit.
Received replacement today. Went with fresh install from the start. 2 hours later, the blue screens returned in the same frequency.
Both times, when I re-inserted the original SSD, all problems went away.
I am going with a different brand. This one is not a good look for Corsair. Hoping you have better luck!
