I bought a pair of $40 thinking they would be the throw away pair. But it turns out it’s these $100 ones. Less range than the $40, less bass and sound quality overall. They also randomly decide to connect to my phone even when I put the in case and don’t want to use them. Don’t buy. Not worth the $100

Great sound and in a small package that will easily fit in your pocket. Connects very quickly and has touch controls.

My one issue is I find there is a small audio delay which is not ideal for watching movies or video... I've had cheaper sets do better at this.

Other than that, these sound really great, and have a good enough battery life that It is never an issue.

They have good sound, good battery life, only thing is I wish it had a more grippy material so they feel more secure in the ear.
Other brands use the mushroom style rubber replaceable inserts that seem to stay in place better due to various sizes to choose from. But overall they sound fantastic, seem to have some type of mic pick up and reproduce that sound through the ear bud so is it anti noise cancelation? Go outside and the wind noise over the mic is clear and loud.

Like it a lot - I hate this now popular in-ear style of earbuds - so found this one which holds in my ears pretty secure and sonically perfect but without of that feeling of thing into your ear canal...
Good sound, battery life and build. Rec!
Mostly use it to listen music. Can't comment much on phone call quality, it works, but did not used in noisy env.

They are pretty average. Which I think is bad for earbuds at 100$ but anyways. They don’t fit really well and they don’t feel comfortable. They have a good bass but that’s it, the sound is okay. They are bad to wear when it is windy. You can hear all the wind hitting the earbuds and can barely hear the music if you don’t wear a hat or something to cover them. Connecting them for the first time to my phone and to my computer was tricky. With my phone both earbuds would connect but only one at a time would work but I charged them and they were good. With my computer, the sound would just not work, but I tried again the other day and they were fine ?
Although the battery life is AMAZING!
Anyways, they are okay but I’m going to keep them since I got them half-price

Good alternative to airpods with key differences

I've been using these for just under a year to replace airpods that had started to lose their sound quality after less than 2 years (something I've heard other people say happened to them too, so seems like crappy built-in obsolescence), so I think I can speak to the pros and cons.

I need earphones shaped like this because of small ear canals, and there aren't many options on the market. I can't even get the other kinds with rubber pieces to stay in. I'm able to run with these, but they do get caught on things like hair and get pulled out a bit more easily than my airpods did.
They do not cancel background noise if you're on the phone like airpods do, to the point that I avoid phone calls with these if I'm outside. It just leads to the other person constantly asking you to repeat yourself.
Another thing I don't like much is that they will be the default mic/audio if I make a call, but if someone calls me while I have them in, I have to go and manually change the setting to the headphones rather than the phone.
They will only connect to the last source they were connected to, even if that device isn't on or in range, which is annoying. If you want to switch devices you have to manually disconnect and reconnect to the other one immediately, or it will just go back to trying to reconnect to the last connected device later. Airpods at least detect the range of devices and don't just reconnect after manually disconnecting.
The case battery does decrease faster over time and needs to be charged more often, but doesn't take long to charge. The battery on the headphones themselves also lasts much longer than airpods so far, as in days rather than just a few hours at a time.
The sound quality is still good, better than I remember the airpods being after a year. Noise cancelling is also good. For some reason it's not really possible to mute with them in. Even pulling the volume all the way down you will still hear things at a very very low volume.

Overall they have been a good airpod alternative for me personally, mostly because of their similar shape. I am hoping they don't go the way of the airpods in another year and become pretty much unusable because the sound is no good.
