<< update at the end >>
First of all, I thing reviews are based on personal impressions, which some are easy to be comfortable with and other are more picky. Me, I'm really picky and I get bothered with some things that may not bother others. I've been using just for a few hours so here's what I've found so far :
PROS
- head rest is awesome. really comfortable and adjustable, which it may require small adjustments to better fit your neck depending on the position that you are on. I've found that really great.
- Sitting pad : really comfortable. A little larger than I've seen around but it makes it easier to adjust your self in the chair;
- Inclination angles : you can lock the chain in 4 different positions, which is really nice. If there were a leg rest it would be perfect to take a nap while in the lowest position :)
CONS;
- Lumbar support : while in the up-right position and leaning all of my back in the chair, the lumbar is around my waist line, which leaver my lumbar completely unsupported, unless I slide my butt a little forward, but then my spine is not at the right position; If I increase the inclination, then eventually the lumbar support it will "fill" my lumbar region. For me it only fits properly and comfortably on my lumbar in the highest inclination angle, which is uncomfortable to work. Once you place in the right position and start getting back in the upright position, you'll feel the lumbar support "pressing" your waist/butt;
- Locking positions : even though the chair is in a locked position, there's a "gap" or some sort which leaves the chair "loose". This means I can move back and forth a few inches. If i'm in the 2nd or 3rd position, there's a "tec" sound, as if two pieces and hitting each other, which is annoying (for me that hates those small click sounds);
- Arms rest : I've found they positioned more forward then it should. In the way that it only rests you arm when you are in the upright position. Once you start leaning back, the arms rest gets farther and farther and your elbows will be "hanging" in the air. it will support only half of your arm. Personally I don't like because it puts some weight on my shoulders and arm since half of my arm is off the edge, which I won't be able to rest my arms properly; Yet there's so much gap int he arms rest that you can move them so much that it seems that they are missing some tightness on the screws;
- The sitting base doesn't tilt with the back, which means that you may feel your body sliding a bit forward. Well, not much since once the lumbar support "locks in" your lumbar, it will hold you in position preventing from slipping;
- Since the chair has support only in the center, if you lean to the side or put more weight on one side than the other, you will feel the back and your lumbar support "tilting" to the side. If you like a more flexible chair, there you have it. However, if you like a more steady chair (as myself), that may bother a little bit;
It's tissue is really comfortable. I'm missing a lumbar position adjustment, a arms rest closer to the back of the chair or and sitting base inclination capability and a side support to prevent the loose sensation of the back of the chair.
Once again, it's just how I felt in the chair and I'm happy that others are happy and comfortable with it.
I thought a little pricy for all the loose parts that I felt and, mainly, for the lumbar support, that is not very comfortable to feel it in my waist instead of my lumbar.
I'm still evaluating and I have contacted the support to see if everything is as it should or if for some there's something wrong.
==============================================
I did send an email to the support and after 3 days not a single response, not even the automatic one. After a few days using I didn't fell more comfortable with the chair and the CONS I've mentioned are still bothering me, good time.
So, in this case, I'm returning the chair.
