2.0 out of 5 starsDecent cable with subpar connector

So, I initially bought these cables because I needed shorter cables for Android Auto. They do what they say, they charge and transmit data, and Android Auto works great. The cables themselves seem sturdy.
However, what brought this review down to 2 stars is the connector. I don't know if I received a faulty unit or if this is by design, but these cables don't stay in my phone's connector at all. For one, they don't click when you plug them in, and the cable feels loose in the connector. Not only do they not click, but they also disconnect with even a light breeze. I need to place my phone somewhere safe and make sure I'm not taking turns too fast or touching the cable, because it will disconnect.
Both of the cables I received exhibit this issue, so it doesn't appear to be a manufacturing defect. Before people dismiss this review as being due to my phone's connector being worn, it's worth noting that all my other cables click and stay connected, even if I move the cable. I have carefully cleaned my phone's port to ensure it's free of debris.
All in all, I'm very disappointed. I would return the cables, but it's really more of a hassle to repackage everything and ship it back when I could just buy UGreen cables instead.
