I bought this sim card for a trip to the states. I made sure to activate it a few days before my trip, setting the date to the day I would arrive in the US. I was relying on the sim card to provide data in order to use GPS navigation on my phone. When I got to the states, I inserted the sim and the phone number was working but the data was not. I followed the troubleshooting guide but still nothing. I was shocked to find out that they do not have a customer service phone number but instead you have to email them if you run into any problems. It is hard to email them when you don't have any data! I had to wait a few hours until I was connected to wifi at a museum and of course kept checking if I received a reply during the museum visit. Instead of enjoying my time, I was stressing about having data in order to navigate to our next destination. In the few hours we were at the museum, I did not receive a reply. I had no choice but to go to Walmart and buy a prepaid sim card there and it was so easy to activate. Eventually I did receive a reply later that evening saying there was a problem with the activation and to try again in a few hours. Since I bought the new sim card, I never did check whether they fixed the issue, but you are really at their mercy and it is impossible to reach them in a timely manner. So my advice to you is to stay away from buying this and look into buying a prepaid sim when you get to your destination. You will save yourself a lot of hassle potentially.
