Fantastic printer for wire markers. I even used it to create regular labels and it works great. Easy to use but instructions did not come in box but free on Brady website.

Lesser quality and function than Brady BMP21-Plus

The previous version gave better results. Wire marking text has 1 less character available on a line. The text is not centered top to bottom with no way to adjust. Chews through batteries.

BE AWARE OF FONT RESTRICTION

This is a quality device. However, for the money it should include the most common font sizes. It jumps from size 9 font to size 14 font. This skips the highly useful and common font sizes 10, 11, and 12. This, in turn, means if you are making hanging file folder labels that size 14 font is likely too large giving you the message "won't fit" or it too small (size 9 font) for easy visibility for hanging file labels. There would be better choices if hanging files are your labeling targets. Furthermore, I have yet to find generic label tape that fits this device as opposed to the Brady brand which is grossly overpriced.

burly... but clunky to use

this thing is stout. screen easy to read, good variety of types of labels (horizontal, vertical, flag, power panel, etc.). backlighting is good. i'd recommend it for sure.... but with limitations.

here's the bad news. must use brady brand label cartridges which aren't cheap.... so watch for the "compatible" offerings on amazon, as they aren't likely to work. it's also tough to switch from caps to small characters, so that will slow you down. keyboard is laid out alphabetically not QWERTY so if you touch type it'll slow you down.

it's got symbols, variety of font sizes (but not fonts), well built, easy to swap cartridges when needed, and there are cartridges that can even print cable labels.... but it does have some limitations. also recommend getting a third party case, there are good vendors on amazon and i was pleased with the one i got.

Great, nice label maker that is fast.I could have been happier if Amazon would have kept it's promise to a Prime member and delivered this the next day. I waited all day to receive this item. I got two updates and then finally, oh, it will be delivered the next day. Thanks for wasting my time. They will probably ban this review because they don't like it when the get criticized so they delete it.

The label maker is great, easy to use, fast and fun to use. I would buy it again and I think you should buy it to do all of your labels.

Has awesome features, just no idea how to use them as it only came with a quick set up guide.
Expected to get a manual, now have to go to their website and download 97 pages.
