Never buying Audio Technica again!
My original review was a 5 star review, but after 6 months with them, I'm getting really frustrated with them. The Bluetooth is incessantly buggy; going garbled or dropping out 10x more than my previous (cheaper) Sony headphones ever did; occasionally they don't like to connect reliably or just randomly disconnect and restart; and the multi-point, for as great as it is in theory, is chock full of bugs: randomly playing the wrong source, stopping the current source and starting another, to the point where I just don't use it anymore and I'm back to flipping Bluetooth on/off every time I switch between devices.
The fit and sound quality are alright, and I wouldn't care about those if it wasn't for all of these other issues, but combined it makes this product kinda gross and I genuinely miss my old Sony headphones, which surprises me, because when I worked in professional audio, Audio-technica was an unrivaled brand name. It didn't matter what product you picked up, if it said Audio-Technica, it was good. End of question... Now I question whether those days have passed or if this is just because this is a cheap product from an otherwise unrivaled brand. If the latter is true, Audio-Technica should just stick to high end products and not risk damaging their reputation so badly trying to increase their market share with low-end products like this.
