Nice sounding easy playing strat! Like any guitar out of the box it needs a good setup...if you are a newbie...get it setup first before bitchin it no good... if you know how to do the work you will be very satisfied. the fret work is not bad, a little polishing does the trick...no fret sprouts... once you get your bridge setup and intonated... wow! and the 2 point tremolo is good also, a bit sensitive at first but all easily adjustable. like i said like any new guitar out of the box get it setup properly and its a real Fender...

I have no name strats that are better. My 200 dollar IYV les paul is way better. DON'T waste your money or time.

if you know squire/ fender, then you know this.

if you dont know squire/ fender? Get to know them, its worth it.

I've got multiple guitars from amazon, sold by amazon, few jackson guitars, squires. I like my guitars and you'll like this one too.

It's great for beginners because if they lose interest in it, not too much money is wasted. Win win.. Do it, even if its for you, do it.

if you like 2000$ guitars, buy this anyway. great guitar in which you dont need to worry about.

Better than my USA-made Fender!

Although the earlier Affinity models were lower quality than Fenders, these are up there in quality and workmanship, close to (and in some ways better than) USA made models. In fact, this guitar plays BETTER than my 2019 USA-made Strat, which chokes the notes out whenever I bend strings. That guitar now gathers dust.

With these new 2021 Affinities, they've raised the price but it's worth it, trust me. MUCH better fretwork leveling, 3-ply pickguard, gloss headstock face, improved logo, 2-point trem, and absolutely superb fit and finish. the only downgrade is the ceramic pickups - upgrade to traditional alnico pickups and you're now firmly in Fender USA territory.

Thinner body and narrow nut makes this great for little people with smaller hands.Lighter than the real thing, but looks very similar.It would fool an expert, until they started to play it.
