This over-ear headphone has all the qualities of a high end headphones for a great price. I have had $300 Sony headphones which are not as comfortable and light as these. I use these to play Xbox and watch TV at home mostly. I have not tried them on a virtual call to test the mic. I'm not an audiophile but the sound coming out of the headset are perfect for me. The power button takes about 2-seconds to power on and a few more to connect but powering down, I feel like I need to hold the button down for 20-seconds. It would have been nice to have a manual switch for the power. I like the NFC switch, that way you know when it is on or off. through basic every day testing, the NFC works to block out most background noises. I don't ear any buzzing or humming with the NFC is turned on. Some sounds will still bleed through but this can be said for any headset unless you are prepared to pay $500.
The overall construction is top quality, its mostly plastic with some metal on the band but that's expected for such a light headset. I did not find any issues with the fit as I believe I have a big head but they also fit my kid's head with ease. The fit is fine without any addition pressure points accept when I wear the for a long period and the arms of my glasses are pressed in, but an over-the-ear headphone will always have this issue. I also have a MPOW17 headset which suspiciously has the same buttons and controls, other than the padding and outer logo differences, they look very similar on the outside. But that's not a bad thing as I love my MPOW's as well. I trust that the 'brains' headset are updated and are costume to the brand. I love the understatement of the logo.
It would have been nice to receive a hard case to store them but it did come with a 'leather' bag for travel so that's a slight plus. The detachable aux cord is perfect when I want to switch back and forth from Bluetooth to wired, just have to be carful not to lose or misplace them when not in use. Lastly, with everything moving to USB-C, it would have been nice to move away from micro USB for charging, but I have plenty of spare cables so that's fine, for now. The joints consist of metal and plastic parts which are perfectly placed to allow storage, transport and wearability. You don't have be gentle but don't abuse them and I think they will last.
Summary, would I purchase these again? yes, because you can't beat the value. Unless you buy into the phrase "price & brand name equal quality", these are perfect for everyday use. I just want a good, working, durable, comfortable set of headphones and these do the job.
