1.0 out of 5 starsDidn't charge, iffy bluetooth connection

BLUETOOTH CONNECTION:
They connected to my phone, fitbit Versa 1, and computer, which was good since my Samsung buds didn't work well with anything but my phone. However, the connection would falter every-so-often, but this was something I was willing to deal with. I used them for a few days and was generally happy with them. Though their connection to my Versa isn't good enough to jog with (the audio would go out so much that it rendered my podcast completely incomprehensible), however it was almost bearable during short sprints, but still pretty annoying. With my bluetooth headphones, I'm used to being able to traverse all three levels of my house without disconnecting to my phone, but the connection with these MONSTER earbuds are not as good but I think this makes sense due to them being smaller. These were all things I was willing to deal with, however now they have been rendered COMPLETELY USELESS due to the fact that they do not charge.
CHARGING ISSUE:
So, over the few days the battery lasted, I would store the buds in their case when not using them, and during this time everything was fine, the case would charge the buds. I was keeping an eye on the lights on the case that I assume showed the battery level of... something... I guess the case (rather than the earbuds). The case never showed one star, last it worked it showed two stars. The only reason I got any indication that I should charge the case was when I connected the buds to my phone and it said they're at 90% instead of the usual 100%. Since I had left them to charge in the case overnight, this means that the case was out of battery. I plugged the case in two different wall outlets and even my computer, none of which worked. (I of course used the MONSTER brand cable that came with the buds). I left them overnight in each, to no avail. I even tried taking the buds out of the case so the case can charge by itself, and still nothing. These babies are fried.
BONUS COMPLAINT: NOISE CANCELLING
These things are TOO good at noise cancelling. Even if I'm not playing music I cannot understand anything anyone is saying to me. This is annoying because then I have to take one out of my ear and hold it, and I don't always have the case right beside me, and I can't just put it down because it's small and easily lost. If the charging didn't break I would have just dealt with all these problems, however now that I'm going to return them anyway I'll see if I can look into some with an easy-on ambient sound feature, because it would REALLY be worth any extra cost.
