Let me start my remarks by saying that I have been an early user of Ring products beginning with the video doorbell and adding numerous other cameras by Ring. Even to this day, I beta test their software for them. I have also moved 3 times in the past 3 years and once again had to purchase and install another home security system. Following my last move a few months ago, I had viewed a few YouTube videos and decided to give Eufy a try. Am I ever glad that I did. I live in Canada and have the video door bell along with 3 Eufy Cam 2c’s. This company is not only quick to respond to any email or concerns seeking help but more importantly, their software and hardware are constantly getting updates. There were a few issues initially I felt were lacking however, all have been since addressed. I use a 12.9” iPad and I hated having to change the orientation to view the software but in the past week, a major update changed it to landscape mode which I now love. I consider the software feature rich and extremely easy to use. The cameras all seem to record well with crisp video especially in good lighting and I love the fact that I don’t pay a cent for the recordings because they are locally kept on internal storage. For those concerned about viewing your recordings from a PC or Mac, there is a webpage allowing you to do so as long as you have flash installed. You can’t currently communicate through the webpage however I don’t doubt that will change. This is a young Company and I like what I’m seeing, although these products may not be perfect just yet, I’m willing to give them the chance to make their great products, excellent products. They’ve won me over.
