UPDATE:
I liked this so much that I bought another for DW. I find that hers is exactly the same as goes BP, O2, and Pulse readings, which makes it very close to the wrist cuff I use to test it against, which in turn is spot on to what I see at the hospital. Nearly perfect! So far the only issue is that the step count is always wildly optimistic; it's really saying double the actual distance covered.
I think a simple firmware update would fix this and truly make it complete.
Battery life is very good; more that a week between charges
We're very happy with these AK1980 fitness watches.
ORIGINAL:
I wasn't sure what to expect from this, but I really wanted a sleep tracker, and this had blood oxygen as well (many don't).
So far, setting up was painless, daily use is easy, and the app is informative.
I have a regular wrist blood pressure monitor, which is always very close to the doctor's readings. Surprisingly, this wrist watch is within 5-8 points of that reading, every time!. I'm amazed, frankly.
Step counting is pretty optimistic however, but it works, and linking to phone gps works fine, giving a nice little map of where I've been walking.
The. real deal is the sleep monitoring. It really does do the deal. It shows me when I get up to go pee, when I am really sleeping, when I'm "light sleeping", tracks it all on the phone app to refer to next day (or month, if you want).
Seems robust, but perhaps the charger interface clamp is a bit awkward at first, and does force you to take the very specific charge clamp with you if you are going away (I'd prefer a direct usb connection really: One less cable).
For the price, it's a winner, looks good, fits my large wrist easily, and also the wife's tiny wrist. I'm buying another one for her as we speak! Thanks for a decent product at a reasonable price!
