I have always been somewhat skeptical about these types of warranties but today really put my mind at ease! I sent a message via Amazon.ca to the Asurion Company and was answered back right away with instructions on how to file a claim for my defective product. I called the Company at 8pm Pacific and they had a live Representative to take my call and process my claim. He emailed me a shipping label while we completed the necessary steps to file the claim. All I need to do is print the shipping label and drop the defective item off to UPS and once they scan the label to confirm receipt of the product, Asurion will mail me a cheque for the price of the defective product (before taxes). It literally took less than 10 minutes to do the entire process! I will continue to buy their warranties on future products and highly recommend it to anyone!
