Top critical review
3.0 out of 5 starsYou get what you pay for - as long as you're happy with that, you're good.

To give immediate context: Utilized this to help mount a small (24"-ish) TV for the parents to watch in the kitchen while doing other tasks, and with modern day LCD's, it really didn't have to bear much weight.
As the headline says: you get what you pay for. Its exceptionally cheap, but its functional. The major aspects that you're losing out on are more articulation (more relevant for a smaller TV/monitor, less relevant for a large TV), and an absolute lack of quick disconnect.
If you check out the reviews, the latter one is a major issue for folk. For higher priced mounts, you first attach it to the wall, and then attach a VESA mount as a 'catch plate', for lack of a better term. This plate will usually slide/fit into the wall mount, and then you tighten it in place to properly 'lock' it in so it cannot be lifted in and out.
This makes *significantly* easier installation, as you're not attempting to balance the TV while attaching it to a wall. I would second reviewers who say that this is absolutely a two-person job simply because of that - and that was with a 24" TV. It arguably goes up to 40 inches (though check your weight), and it feels like it would be a small nightmare to deal with something of that size.
On a personal note: I would be worried about using this to mount heavy/larger TV's. As always, check the actual weight limit and not just the TV size. You should be screwing into a stud so that will provide extra support, but you're only dealing with two points of connection that are in a direct line. It doesn't feel like there's a lot of distribution of the weight of the TV along the mounting point. This works great for my use case - a small TV for casual consumption tucked away in a high corner - but it does feel like its more likely to result in a catastrophic failure.
All in all: You get what you pay for. Its sturdy, but has limited range and articulation. There's no quick disconnect, which is by FAR one of the most user friendly features mounts can have, but its a fraction of the price of most mounts. There's only two connection points in a vertical line, but again, a fraction of the price of most mounts. Measure carefully to account for the lack of articulation, and you should be able to mount a small/light TV satisfactorily.
