Top critical review
3.0 out of 5 starsSeems solid even but...

Like everyone else says, overall it seems like a pretty solid TV mount! Most importantly, for the price, I would buy it again!
NOTE: the day after purchase it went on a lightning sale so if you aren't in a rush you might catch it at an even better price than what it already is. I think it was about $20CAD off.
BUT some things could be better:
Problem 1:
I have a Samsung UN55MU6300FXZC and have to use M8 screws. The short 15mm M8 screws are too short (the threading doesn't even catch) so I had to use the crazy long 45mm M8 screws using with three of the spacers that are meant for curved panel TVs (2 10mm spacers and 1 5mm spacer...see pictures.) If you require M6 screws (thinner) then they come in 15mm and 30mm options...you lucky ducks. Like another review with the exact same TV model said, I don't think this reduces the strength but the instructions don't even mention if that is okay to do and it makes the TV stick out a bit further. Luckily I found the other review that made it sound like it works for them.
Solution:
The manufacturer should clarify in the instructions to use any and all spacers if required, curved panel or not. Or better yet, provide 30mm M8 screws so fewer spacers are required. At least if you're reading this as a consumer then you know it's okay.
Problem 2:
Past mounts I have purchased have always come with a template so that you can line it up with your VESA mount points, see how far below the mount points your TV will go and use the template to decide exactly where you want to mount your TV on the wall. Mine ended up being way too close for comfort to the top of my mantel. Even if you wanted to, you can't simply redrill the holes 1/2" or 1" higher/lower because you risk collapsing the structural integrity of the studs.
Solution: provide a template.
Problem 3:
This might be highlighted for me because I had to use 25mm of spacers (read problem 1) but the front/back tilt is difficult to get it to stay perfectly verticle. I'll have someone hold the TV mount in place (not even the TV itself) while I tighten the screws and it still drops forward every time. Not a huge problem but could be a design improvement in the future.
Problem 4:
There is no fine adjustment for vertical positioning. Like problem 3 this is a minor detail but it could use a slight design tweak in the future.
So yes, I rated it 3 stars but I would buy it again solely because of the price point. Perhaps next time I would assemble the whole thing first off of the wall and not follow the instructions. This way I could have had a better idea as to where I should mount drill the holes on the wall. I read one review about needing a torque wrench: maybe they changed the instructions but mine didn't mention specific torque.
