the bottlm coat DOES NOT fully cure. after curing it for like 200 seconds it still wasnt dry. top coat was all good though. after putting colour (on top of the semi wet bottom coat) and top coat i cured it for 60 seconds and was fineedit: so it does say on the packaging that the bottom coat is supposed to stay slightly tacky, my mistake, but after a day of putting it on the product will start chipping or completely peel off your nail. not very good if you want a long term style.

I've done my nails several times now with this base and top coat. I've used it with Beetles, Gaoy, Gel Polish and YTD Likomey gel polish and it's been a beautiful success each time. I've had no chipping or peeling even at the TWO WEEK mark even with dishwashing and house cleaning products (I hate rubber gloves). It took a little trust in the base coat - it stays quite sticky no matter how much time - but once I realized the base coat cured sticky I had no issues and I've had the best home manicures of my life. I'm pretty meticulous about cleaning up extra polish surrounding my nails as I go so I can say my nails look 100% salon done and one manicure paid for itself.
