In all my years of doing makeup, I've never tried a gripping primer so I decided to try it yesterday. I had to do my makeup fast as company showed up a lot earlier than expected but I did like how sticky it was but not a gross sticky, it was light and refreshing!
I can't say if I would buy it again just yet because I didn't have my makeup on long so I don't know how it works after 6+ hrs but I'm more than happy to come back and edit my review.

I am used to using the Milk Hydro Grip primer. Tho I do prefer the Milk Product, I opted to try this product as it is a fraction of the cost. This product, considering the price, performs almost just as good. I will definitely be purchasing this again as it is much more budget friendly and does the job!

This was my first time trying this product and it did not fail to impress! I have skin issues and I thought it would for sure make my makeup crack or look dry or anything bad at all since I've never used a primer with this consistency, but it worked out very well for me and have no regrets!! I threw this in my cart because I was sticky-curious, but wound up purchasing a week or so later because I mistook it for a color corrector that I still haven’t purchased). I *love* how hydrating it is, so much so that I’ve put it on twice and just worn it by itself, lol. It works very well with my L’Oreal Age Perfect Radiant Serum Foundation, but haven’t tried it with anything else base-wise.

Ladies with drier skin will likely enjoy this, and my guess is that patting the gel formula down and into the skin over flaky patches, as opposed to rubbing, will smooth them down a bit. Idk for sure, but it reminds me of one I had years ago to deal with that issue.

I have tried various primers before even more expensive ones and i can say this elf one is the best. If i don't use it my make up only lasts a couple of hours, with it lasts all day.
A little goes a long way and i think the price is amazing considering how good the quality is.
