I've been using the Amazon Fire TV 40" 2-Series HD smart TV since March 2024, and it's been a great addition to my home. I primarily use it for Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and streaming music. The picture quality is good for casual viewing, and the audio sounds fine to me. I'm not looking for a super crisp theatre-like experience, just something reliable for everyday use.The voice commands work well, and I love making announcements through the TV. The remote is slightly longer than the Firestick remote, which is a handy way to tell them apart. The quick-access buttons are very convenient.I haven't used the Bluetooth feature yet, but I have connected a Firestick to check out an app. Switching inputs was a bit tricky at first but manageable once I figured it out. Setting up the TV was a bit confusing because it initially led me to the .com site instead of the .ca site, but that was a user error on my part.Some highlights include:Picture Quality: Good for casual viewing.Voice Commands: Effective and handy for announcements.Remote Control: Longer than the Firestick remote, with convenient quick-access buttons.Audio: Sounds good, no complaints.Setup: Slight confusion with the site but easily resolved.Connectivity: Easy connection with external devices like the Firestick.Overall, this TV offers great value for its price point and is perfect for anyone looking for a reliable, easy-to-use smart TV. The good:

I put this in my office and it helps me with keeping an eye of the cameras across the house; do all sorts of switches, turning the lights on or off, etc.
> The TV is not just a TV; for me, it is actually a smart companion for watching YouTube or Prime contents as well as keeping the house “smart”. These days, I cannot think of buying a TV just to watch videos! Amazon has changed the way we “TV” these days. I know that other television manufacturers are also making smart TVs, but the Fire TV makes it exceptionally convenient for me as I have an Amazon ecosystem at my house. Not all manufacturers have their own ecosystem and hence, the smart TVs they make do not blend in well in controlling the household devices. I have an LG which I barely use for smart features. Instead, I have purchased a Fire Stick to control that TV, the magic remote is not even touched ever! Convenience matters after all!

The bad:
> As far as I know what I am purchasing, this TV does everything I want and expect it to do. There is nothing to complain about. I can spend lines after lines describing how the color and resolution of this TV is NOT UHD, but that’s given! This was not meant to give me the best picture quality but something else! And it is doin bits job well!

I can recommend this TV happily to those wanting to have a small tv in any corner of their house and do some basic things as well as watch when they wanted. These days, TVs come built on the refrigerators! So, why not!? Enjoy!

This has been around for about 4 months now.. things I love include: the apps and availability of apps from creators I like that I download and can tune in quickly, the picture and audio quality are really good, it's lightweight, easy to move around, the remote is simple, there aren't any dumb features beyond the Alexa.. I don't use and will never use Alexa and no amount of badgering on-screen will change that. On to the things I don't like... the feet on the tv are awkward and not giving me the confidence that it's altogether too sturdy and sometimes the feet move around, most of all what's annoying is the click speed.. sometimes it takes several seconds delay, to a point of being cringe-worthy, to unbuckle and work properly, and the tv crashes often. When I fist got it, I needed to be on with Amazon tech support for nearly 2 hours to have them remote connect, so that I could run some wild update that I had no way of knowing was the reason that I couldn't watch much on the Amazon app, I was getting weird error messages. Only after much time was the person able to help, and try after try, I admire his patience but taking hours to troubleshoot a tv seemed intense to me. I use it every day, mostly for YouTube, apps and Amazon, and not much else. The bluetooth connectivity is pretty awesome, sometimes it connects right away, and sometimes it takes several clicks, and starting from the home screen, to start back up again. The ability to stream YouTube from my laptop is a pretty cool feature, although janky, and works about half the time. I'm patient with the shortcomings since this tv wasn't expensive, and it's otherwise fine for day to day, but the details are done pretty poorly. That and I often lose the remote, it's small and rounded which is comfortable to hold, but falls down and slips everywhere, often behind the couch or gets knocked somewhere and I've wasted many moments chasing it down. Worthwhile if you don't love tv too much and are ok with a slightly above mediocre tv.

fit perfectly on a wall mount has great picture settings and i was really impressed with the sound quality from such little speakers
my one dislike about the tv is it turns off after 5 minutes if you have your program/show on pause you can go into the settings and swtch it to 180 mins rather than 5 but it resets everytime you turn off the tv but still 4.5 stars out of 5
