Is it compatible with non-magnetic phone cases?

Only with magnetic phone cases. Not compatible with non-magnetic phone cases.

Is this Power Bank fast charging?

Only charge by wire support 18W fast charging. The magnetic charge only provides up to 7.5W maximum power.

Why does the device become hot when used?

When the power of the mobile phone or power bank is less than 30%, the power will reach the maximum value and the temperature of the product will rise rapidly and significantly. This is normal.

Why is my Portable Charger providing fewer charges than expected?

The capacity reduction during charging is due to a 20% to 35% energy loss in the battery cells and conversion circuitry. Therefore, a fully charged iWALK Wireless Portable Charger offers an estimated 2880mAh to 3500mAh to power devices.

How many times this power bank will charge my iPhone when fully recharged?

To estimate charges,use this formula:

(Power Bank Capacity × 0.66) ÷ Device Battery Capacity.

For example, an iPhone 15 with a 3,349mAh battery can receive about 1 charges. ( 5,000mAh × 0.66) ÷ 3,349mAh)

1 full iPhone 13 or S21 charge (16 Wh) capacity + instructions and specs in review
First off, I have a lot of USB cords around, and generally they are cheap. This one supports “super fast charging” my S21 - even though the power bank does not. I’m happy to keep this cable in my drawer with good ones. This seems odd, and lots of people will not care about it, but to me, if they didn’t cheap out on the cable (maybe a few extra cents), maybe they didn’t cheap out on other things either? Now for the specs. After using it for a few charges and then fully charging it I measured 16.187 Wh (16187 mAh) of usable energy - in a “fast charge” state - while cable charging. Although it would charge at 9V sometimes, it has totally shut off on me mid way, or dropped down to 5V (normal - “not slow”) charging rates. In my test, I turned it back on once, and kicked it back onto 9V charging twice. Despite this it averaged 6.3V charging (so 5V 75% of the time 9V 25% of the time). It took 24 mWh to fully charge, and charging took just a few hours.Single button directions - single press to turn on. Double press to turn off. 3 second hold to enter “low current mode”(seems to only affect wired charging). I’m happy to note I can keep it on the back of my phone with it off, to keep it ready for when I need it. It does also support charging your phone wirelessly while you charge the power bank itself. During this procedure, I found it would only run at 5V charging, and the instructions say it gives priority to charging the phone first, power bank second.More specs: It claims to have a 3.85V battery with 19.25 Wh capacity (vs my usable 16.2 - which seems honest given some charging inefficiencies). It’s able to fast charge itself (assuming your power adapter supports it) at 12V - 1.5 A (I saw 11.8 @ 1.6A - by a 30% charge it had kicked itself down to 5V @ 1.3A).It will also charge/discharge at 5V 3A, 9V 2A, and the aforementioned 12V 1.5A. Wireless charging is 5, 7.5, 10 or 15W and my S21 reports it as “fast wireless charging”. However that may turn down as the unit heats up - and I can’t say whether that’s my phones choice or the power banks)I’ve used a few power banks, and I’m happy to say that this one doesn’t overstate its capacity, and works well. It’s always a tradeoff between clunkyness and capacity, but if you only need to double your battery capacity, this is a great buy. However keep in mind, some of the clunkier ones may offer better capacity at the same price point. Again, I believe this is a quality unit and seems much “trendier” than its clunky counterparts.Lastly, in the included instructions it claims a 12 month warranty for anyone who’s interested.

Currently priced at $39.99 this 5000mAh battery pack has a great design, bright and easy to read display and comes well packaged along with a USB C-C cable.

My unit arrived with a small scuff on the top which I was unable to wipe off with a damp cloth. It isn't a huge deal but my preference would be for new products to arrive in better shape.

The magnet adheres very well and the slim size of the battery pack makes for a nice combine form factor when in use.

I feel this battery pack is a little overpriced as my phone has a 5000mAh battery and when comparing percentages on the battery pack vs that of my phone I calculated about a 60% charging efficiency. But once it got down to the last 20 percent the charge remaining in the battery dropped very quickly. I've used worse but for higher priced (relatively speaking) battery packs I feel that battery packs with higher quality cells and better design would ideally have over 70% or be in the 75-80% range.

If this were priced lower I'd give it a 5 star rating (given the charging efficiency). There are also other options that have a higher output that will support faster charging speeds.

If you're in the market for a very slim battery pack this definitely fits the bill. It would be nice if it packed a little more juice but the only thing going for this battery pack is its size.

The IWALK charger is a powerful, compact magnetic charger that works with non-MagSafe phones.

I love my iPhone 12 mini. It fits easily in a pocket, can be used one-handed, and is not heavy. The one downside to a small phone is the smaller battery. That 2227mAh battery struggles to last a day, and I often find myself scrambling to find a free electrical port in an airport.

The IWALK charger is a game-changer. With its powerful 1.5x charging capability, this compact charger has given my iPhone a new lease of life, providing over thirty hours of runtime from one battery. The MagSafe connection is secure, snapping firmly onto the phone, and the battery case is ergonomically curved to fit comfortably in your hand when attached to your phone. The additional 122g of weight is so well-balanced that it's hardly noticeable, making it a truly portable and convenient solution for my battery anxiety.

The IWALK charger is not just about power; it's about peace of mind. The bright LED display is a reliable indicator of the battery pack's power level, allowing you to instantly check the status of the charger. There's nothing more frustrating than being in an airport and realizing your charger has a dead battery. (Trust me, I've been there.) :-)

Like most MagSafe devices, the battery charges at around 7W. This charging speed can be increased by using the included USB C to USB C cable, which offers PD 18W input and output. This allows you to use this charger with a non-MagSafe phone from Apple or Android.

You'll note on the product page that the iPhone 12 mini and 13 mini are not listed as supported. They are; the battery pack protrudes slightly from the base of the phone. I have a thick case on my phone, and the IWALK worked perfectly.

In conclusion, the IWALK battery charger is smaller and thinner than a pack of cards and can double the usable time on your phone. I always have an IWALK in my pocket when I travel.
