I bought this dock because I needed a dock that fit a Rog Ally with a protective case. This is the only dock that I've seen that will fit a Rog Ally with the protective case still on (you don't have to take your protective case off to dock your Rog Ally in this dock). It's made of good, strong metal, and looks clean and nice. The cable is long enough, and made from a braided material. This dock does everything all the other docks do, but it is more versatile for fitting multiple sized devices, including devices with protective cases.

I got the case for my ally with the kickstand, this deck works with is excellently. From what I’ve read online this is the only deck you can use if you have a case with your hand held. Since it’s a metal case it feels durable. Works with my mouse and keyboard and supports turbo mode.

I've bought and returned a couple docks to use with my ally simply because it didnt support full 30watt turbo mode with the charger my device came with. Other products require a 100watt charger for it to work. But this dock will do it! Worked great been using it for a couple months now, no issues

There have been several questions I had that were unanswered before I bought this because I took a rather technical approach.

Yes, this supports the 30W Turbo mode (not the usual 25W while on battery or some chargers).

The HDMI supports 1440p @ 144Hz which is way more than enough for what this console is capable hardware-wise but is still a nice feature to have, especially while navigating through the OS.

The dock is made of metal (Aluminum I think) and it feels sturdy and nice. The Ally fits nicely even with a case on and can even slightly adjust it as well!

This dock has the following issues when connected to my game console:

-The included 65W charger registers as 25W when passing through the dock to the handheld PC gaming console (Tried both Steam Deck and Asus ROG Ally) so you cannot run in full TDP mode of 30W or more despite the charger being able to deliver enough electricity when connected straight to the console.

-There is constant intermittent sound cutting out from the HDMI port. I have tried multiple HDMI cables connected to multiple TVs, and multiple sound sources across my Steam Deck and Asus ROG Ally, and none of them escape the SUPER annoying audio cutting out every 3 seconds.

These two issues essentially render the dock useless, as the point of docking is to connect to a TV and play your games or watch media on your TV or monitor from the device, and it doesn't do either acceptably.

I have reached out to iVANKY for support, and I will update this review if they send me another dock and it ends up working. Manufacturing defects sometimes happen, but I'm fairly certain this is just too low quality of a dock to handle what it claims to be designed for.
