Customers Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: 1. What can of application do I need to download to use this controller?
A: No application needed. Plug it in and your PC or Respberry Pi will recognize it.
Q: 2. Work with steam games on pc?
A: No, not support steam games.
Q: 3. Will this work for Tesla Atari games?
A: If you're using an Atari emulator on PC or Mac, then it will.
Q: 4. Can I use it to play online games?
A: No, this controller doesn't support online games because you couldn't map the buttons.
Q: 5. Why my controller inputting both joystick and keyboard buttons?
A: What emulator are you using? Difficulty on mapping the buttons depends on the emulator. We recommend using Project 64 on PC, OpenEmu on Apple Mac, Retropie on Respberry Pi.
Q: 6. After running a configuration through retroarch,when i connect the controller to my retropie/raspberry pi 2,the pi doesn't detect it.what's wrong?
A: You can try powering down and booting back up with the controllers connected. or rebuild retropie.
Q: 7. How long is the USB Cable?
A: Cord is approx. 5.9 ft. Long.
Q: 8. Can you configure the buttons to specific keys? I want to program buttons for shortcut commands like CTRL+Z, for example.
A: This can be accomplished with 3rd party software that maps joystick buttons to keyboard controls such as Xpadder, AutoHotKey, or EventGhost.
Q: 9. Is it Plug and Play?
A: Yes! You just need to go into controller settings and map each button. It's so easy!
Warm Tips:
1. Plug in the controller first before open the emulator or power on the raspberry pi, so your device could detect the controller easily.
2. Project 64 is perfect emulator for Windows PC.
3. If you couldn't configure input correctly, please contact us and tell us your device and emulator, we could help to solve it.

It's good weight and feels well structured
I didnt feel there was any lag, etc when playing games like Mario Kart or Goldeneye. To me, it felt exactly like the original.
Works on Project64. So much better than the keyboard!
Definitely impressed by this controller, especially for the price!

Now for the title of the review.....
You may see reviews mentioning a Dead-zone, namely toward the bottom right, but there is a chance that it is not a result of the controller itself, but rather Project64 itself. How I found out was I fired up Steam and played a 3D game and the issue never reared its ugly head (tried the same thing on Switch. It is not natively supported, but it is functional). I fixed it with DarkMan DInput 4.0 controller plugin, so do know that you will most likely need that going in.
Once you do, you will be met with a solid choice for N64 controllers, as this controller has never dropped an input for me and my testing. Worth the money, just be wary you will have to do some plugin work on Project64.

For people having issues getting this to work, here's my experience with Project64 on latest Win10 build - I first plugged it in using a non-active USB extension cable, the PC saw the controller but I don't think the connection was the greatest. Project64 did not see the controller, guessing the controller didn't like the extension (USB connections greater than 15 feet on non-active cables are pretty unreliable). Plugged it directly in to the PC, everything works great. After the initial driver install which Windows did on its own, no input from me required, I put it back on the extension cable and it worked fine. Plug and play with Project64 is a pretty accurate though I did still have to go into the controller config and map all the buttons, but after that everything worked great. Recommend using an active USB extension if you need one. BlueRigger sells some quality active USB extension cables.

like i get the mem and rumble pak thingys dont work, but i didnt need it for that. i think the best way to describe it is, as another reviewer said, is:
its like that 1 controller that your brother thinks is broken but you switch and still win anyway because it isnt. it just has that feel you know? but yea ive been enjoying my games a lot with this thing and i absolutely recommend the hell out of it.
