I always use the duo brand for a while and I saw this on one video review so I had to try. I would say it's better in terms of hold.

Only Cons I found was sometimes it was hard to remove and it kind of hurts. it leaves a gooey white/transparent on your lashes which is a little hard to remove.

Granted, when I have lashes on I don't get my face wet, so I can't attest to the waterproof portion. I've tried several, but this is the one I'm sticking with! Takes a tad more effort to get them off but ladies just let them babies soak in remover, don't go ripping them off all willy nilly.
