Reviews with images
Great picture but slow, clumsy software. Holding out for an update.
Box showed up with a massive hole in the front (ie. where the glass screen was) but, whatever, thats not Samsung's fault. Screen was seemingly undamaged anyway.CONS...01. Set it up and the first thing we noticed was that the audio was *whisper* quiet.02. Second thing that struck us was how slow applications open on the TV. I think maybe we're spoiled when using lightning-fast smartphones and laptops, comparatively... but running Netflix, DisneyPlus and Amazon Prime take a long time to "boot".03. The operating system is not smart enough to remember what content you had open last.04. Using the internet browser is an exercise in futility and frustration - with no mouse, its very difficult to use the utility wheel on the remote to do anything. An ergonomic nightmare, really.05. The Amazon Alexa integration is weak and clumsy (non-intuitive).06. The Voice-UI has literally never worked for me. Me: "Alexa, play M*A*S*H on DisneyPlus" Samsung: "Here you go "(then plays random VEVO videos on YouTube™).PROS...01. Nice crisp video. Deep rich blacks and reds.02. Thin bezel - lots of screen for 43".03. Elegant form factor (Nice thin screen - looks attractive on a wall or credenza).
