1- you really have to rely on luck, getting a 13 mini in 100% workable condition ( with its now increasing cost, I got it around $340 or less) I recommend to trust MOBILESUPPLY, Hybrid IT, Woot; they are highly rated, they had return and refund programs and a ton of reviews that you can see and test on your own. Still, they can give you the most broken phone if you are not lucky.
2- Battery life is a real struggle- I got my mini with 100% battery health and now is at 90%, which I wonder, but I’ve heard many people struggling with this situation. Either way, it doesn’t matter how high it is or if you try the “prolong battery life in your iPhone by turning X” hacks; it will always be draining no matter what. The main apps or stuff that drains the battery of my mini were:
-All social media apps (facebook took 32% of my battery while using it by 29 minutes).
-5G networks or no signal found.
-Listening to music at high volume with screen turn off (turn on is way worse) with the speakers at max (THIS IS GOING TO KILL YOUR MINI). My battery went from 69 to 18 in the spam of an hour.
In conclusion, the 13 mini is probably the best mini phone to ever exist for me, the size form is perfect and being the 13 series makes it better; has everything except 120 of refresh rate, 3 cameras and a big battery. I give it 5/5 due to this reasons, is up to you to see how it works for you; Minis are going to be rare in a future I guess, so I recommend buying the green color one, it came before the release of the 14 series and there is less of those than the other colors.
My mini came with scuffs and scratches around the screen (take note, excellent condition = no screen scratches and still it came with scratches) and camera lenses, everything else is good and works perfectly fine (it came with a screen protector in order to hide the severe scratches on the screen, that’s why in the pictures is broken because I wanted to know why there where scratches). Everything else works perfectly fine and I enjoy the small size!!
