Comes with the unit, manual, usb cord & the carry rope. Charge is indicated by a little red light. The unit is solid and seems well made. I've only had it on through the night but battery lasts the whole time. Pretty quick to recharge. Lots of sounds to choose from and the volume can go up to a decent loudness. Really easy to use. Portability is a fabulous option - use it myself at home or can take it camping, use in my foster animal's room, etc. Great little 'tool'!
