The Korea 10 day card worked perfectly for the 3 days I was there. The Japan 7 day took all the troubleshooting plus manually adding the APN to get working, and then randomly stopped working a few times for periods of time - one of those would have left me stranded since it happened while trying to catch a train back to the hotel except luckily I had the wifi info of a nearby business I could get to and stand infront of to get internet again. Tech support was slow to respond at times (~2.5 hours).
