When travelling in the past, i have always purchased an extra roaming plan from my carrier. I had a 3 week trip planned through Europe (Germany, Austria, Hungary, Czech) and was looking at $200 charge for the additional roaming plan with my carrier. This seemed exorbitant so I decided to try this travel SIM card option even though I was a little reluctant with removing / exchanging the SIM card. I was ecstatic at how well this worked. I powered off my phone during the flight and swapped out my SIM card. When i arrived at the airport in Germany, I powered on my phone and once the phone booted up, i immediately had an internet connection. It worked seamlessly and there was no issue when travelling across different countries in Europe. Very satisfied with how well this worked and needless to say will not be using roaming plans anymore. At any time you can text the number provided and it will tell you how much data you have left etc. Highly recommend.
