This seat is pretty much what all the other reviews have said. Once installed it is a lot sturdier than it looks. The harness clasp is also very sturdy but the lead is short so if you have a very wiggly dog you may find they get hung up in it. The edges are not well padded so a second blanket may be required. I got a very plush baby blanket and that did the trick. Also easier to wash than pulling the liner out all the time. My dog absolutely loves this carseat. She had a bigger one that was also tall so she could see out but she didn't like it. I think it is the high sides that make her feel more secure in this one. Last time I filled up with gas, the attendant said she looked like a princess in her seat. All in all, this is the best seat I have tried for any of my small dogs, who have all been pretty easy travelers.
