I used this service on a recent trip to France. It looked good as it offered data as well as phone calls back to Canada where I needed to check my work voice mail from time to time. I'm using a brand new Samsung Galaxy S24

Problems began when I tried to login to my voicemail back home. It said it didn't recognize the number I was calling from so I couldn't check my messages. This was undoubtedly because the new sim assigns you a French phone number. Unfortunately when I checked in my device settings it said your phone number is unknown.

In addition, the service seemed to only work if I was outside. Once inside any building, I was constantly getting a message that my network connection was unstable. Inside the Louvre or Versailles Palace there was usually no service at all. Trying to stream video to my tablet in my hotel room resulted in never ending buffering. Service in Paris was almost always on an LTE network. I rarely had more than two bars of signal. Frustrated with the crappy reception and inability to check my voicemail, I ended up putting my Canadian SIM back in and paying the roaming fee. What was fascinating about that was the fact that upon reinserting the Roger's sim and turning on roaming, it connected me to the same Orange F network and I suddenly had 5 bars on a 5G network and a great signal. Go figure.

Others seemed to have had a better experience than me. Good for them but my experience with this service was that it was only useful when I was out in the street where few people want to make work related calls. Otherwise it either barely worked or didn't work at all. I have a funny feeling that what they are selling you is a connection on one of their old slower networks at 5G prices. Either way, there are far cheaper esim options than this one which provide only data but at least work well I'd suggest trying one of those. At least then if it doesn't work, you'll be out a lot less money.
