After landed on Athens, Greece and used SIM card. It looked that phone was activated and gave a phone number, however it didn’t work. After carefully read the booklet, I restarted my phone, it gave a new phone number again, this time it was really activated and in a local mobile network. You don’t need to register for 2 weeks. It is pricey but convenient.
