The Umidigi G6 5G is a nice upgrade for a family member in our household, offering a blend of affordability and functionality with 5G connectivity. The design is sleek and modern, featuring a sturdy build that feels reassuring in hand. The 6.5-inch Full HD+ display provides vibrant colors and decent brightness levels, making it suitable for multimedia consumption and casual gaming. The 90Hz refresh rate helps video and games look smooth.
Like other Umidigi phones I've purchased, a case is included and screen protector is already applied. No need to go shopping for these items.
Performance-wise, the Umidigi G6 5G is powered by a capable MediaTek Dimensity processor paired with 6gigs of RAM, ensuring smooth multitasking and responsive performance. It handles everyday tasks and moderate gaming with ease.
One of the features is its 5G capability, which I cannot comment on until upgrading my plan. The Wi-Fi connectivity is a a higher rate than another Umidigi phone, which is an improvement. 6g hBattery life is great thanks to a large capacity battery, easily lasting through a full day of moderate usage.
