How to activate this SIM card is clearly explained. Upon arrival at Hong Kong airport i put this SIM card into my iPhone 13 and turn on the phone. It was that easy!! I got my access to wifi and internet. For those who are not electronic expert like me, your phone does not work as it is in Canada. Only e-mail instead of texting and call through Face time whats up etc work instead normal phone call. Internet access was smooth, but you have to have an access to WiFi (airport, hotel, coffee shop etc).
I bought a 15 day card for 10 day travel to China and Japan. It worked without any trouble only if I had a WiFi access in HongKong, Putian and Xiamen in China and Tokyo, Japan. In China WiFi access is limited at Hotel, Airports and train stations, but in Japan there are many access spots (MacDonald is my preferred place because there are power outlets and wifi access).
