This was the perfect height for my small dog to see out the front and side windows and it was very sturdy and safe, however it is WAY too big for newer front bucket seats - doesn’t sit flat and there is ZERO comfort for your dog. It’s hard plastic with no cushion. The insert is as thick as a kitchen towel. I spent time adjusting and adding pillows to help add comfort and my dog could not get comfortable on our drive. I’ve sent it back and found something that offers more comfort.
