I had a check engine light that came on and this scanner worked perfectly fine. Really easy to use and to read/clear the code. However, I had an airbag light come on and the scanner did not pull any codes. I had to use my friends more expensive tool to pull the code. Not sure why this happened, but something to be aware about.
