Wow! This monitor stand is such an upgrade from my previous solution of stacking two large textbooks underneath my monitor. This is a perfect size for my modestly-sized Dell monitor. There's plenty of room for me to store items both underneath and as well as beside the monitor on the stand. I can't believe I coped with my amateur solution to raise my monitor to acceptable height for so long. I recommend that anyone worrying about their messy monitor raising situation to delay no further. Buy this monitor stand!
Caution: this is probably not a good stand for a laptop. It is made of solid wood and has no breathability, so I can see it having issues with overheating if a laptop is doing heavy-duty processing, such as gaming. A metal stand with breathability holes is better suited for that.
