We bought this for my girls 8 year old birthday and she loved it. It was easy for me to load the film and they can keep track of how much film is left from the small dial on the camera. Their friends had lots of fun borrowing it and taking pictures and my daughter loved that she could physically hold pictures of her and her friends and family, and also give them as gifts/memorabilia. The camera just needs two double-A batteries and they seem to last for a while. The camera itself is sleek and really durable. We loved the color!
