Bought this for my Granddaughter's water table outside. She is 2 and half. She struggled a bit to get the fish on the hook but once she figured it out she had fun. Her seven year old cousin was much better with it. He could wind and unwind the fishing rod and we wound up the fish so they swam to make in much more challenging for him. Several times the fish accidently fell on the deck but they did not break. The fish seem to be pretty sturdy. Should get several years of play with this!
