The final product itself is quite well made. I am sitting on it this moment as I'm writing this review. The cushion is comfortable and super supportive of my back. I think I will never get any back or neck pain from sitting on this chair for too long. The neck piece and armrests are all very adjustable. My only complaint is that the armrest is too adjustable, there are way too many settings that I don't need and I often need to go through a whole bunch of settings to find the right position. I've been sitting on this chair every day for nearly a month now, it's working out very well for me. I would definitely recommend this for ergonomic needs.
Additional info: There's a secret setting the instruction doesn't tell you. You need to adjust the handle in the lower back in order to lock and/or adjust the back levels so you can use it as a throne or a lazy chair. Just play around with it. If you feel like you are about to flip over, it means you haven't found and locked the secret setting lol.
When I first bought it I didn't expect to be assembling this myself. I thought it would come as a whole chair. But no, I was so wrong and I was super scared at first. As it turns out, the instruction manual that came with it is actually useful and helped me put the whole thing together in about 15 minutes. You don't need any extra tools, everything you need to put the chair together comes in an assemblage packet, you end up with extra spare screws too, which I think is very thoughtful. I had never done assembling like this before but I was super proud of myself afterwards.
