So This Is War Kindle Edition

From USA Today and Amazon Charts bestselling author Meghan Quinn, comes a new coach’s daughter, workplace, forbidden standalone sports romance featuring the hockey men you can’t get enough of. This steamy, roommates-to-lovers romantic comedy will bring all the laughs while burning up the pages at the same time.

Did I think I was going to fall for my coach's daughter?

The answer would be no.

I'm still unclear on how I got into this predicament in the first place. A year ago, I was a man with one thought on his mind, the redhead I met at a hotel bar. Twelve months later, I found her.

Unfortunately for me, she not only happens to be my very off-limits coach's daughter, but also . . . my new assistant and roommate.

I don't even need an assistant, but Coach Wood doesn’t take no for an answer. Add in him writing up tasks for his daughter, Wylie, to complete for me? Well, it's his own form of sweet torture. We are talking tasks that I would never ask her to do.

Tasks that make her despise me.

Hate me.

That make her utter four words that cause a shiver to crawl up my spine . . . Posey, this is war.

“Baby, I would hum music for you if you needed it.”

LEVI POSEY IS HERE!!!! While I loved all the MMC’s in this series, his story was the one that I’ve been waiting on. He has brought me so many laughs that I knew it would continue in his book and man did Meghan deliver!

“Well, maybe our first date can be a picnic with bologna sandwiches.”

“Don’t tease me because that seems like the ultimate date.”

Posey has been searching for a woman he met one night and fled before he could get any information. Imagine his surprise when he is introduced to his dream woman, Wylie, who is his coach’s daughter and extremely off limits. Now he has to do her fathers bidding as she works as his assistant while fighting the attraction between them.

“Don’t you feel it, Wylie? Doesn’t it feel right to you?”

Wylie was the perfect counter part for Posey. She was sassy, outspoken and not afraid to work hard for what she wants. She refuses to follow her dads plans for her and will do anything to follow her dreams, even if that means doing ridiculous errands for her boss.

“This is going to sound like a Friends episode, but she doesn’t know that you know she knows, which means . . . “

“Hold on a second . . . to quote Friends, the messer becomes the messee?”

Their chemistry was sparking from the first conversation and just got hotter as their journey continued. I loved the interactions we got to see with Posey and the past leading ladies as he navigates through his feelings. The way that the men stood up for him during a very stressful time, had me all up in my feels. This group hit the “found family” trope on the best ways that kept me smiling throughout this story.

“You were clearly made for me.”

I’m sad to see this series wrap up but I’m so excited to see what is in store for OC in the next series.

I feel like throughout all the other series books I was WAITING for Posey's book, and it's finally here, and I was not disappointed. In the other books, Posey was so supportive & funny & his love for bologna was weirdly charming & I slowly fell for him as a supportive character, and I'm so glad his story is finally here!

The prologue. LOL. Talk about starting off with a bang.

Posey & Wylie meet at a bar one night when he's at an away game & they totally hit it off; but then Wylie leaves, which leaves Posey disappointed and wanting more from her. He searches for her ever since she walked away, and finally after a year, he meets her again... but OOPS, she's his coach's daughter. His coach's super-duper OFF-LIMITS daughter. Complicates things just a bit.

But she's his dream girl. She loves bologna as much as he does. Her sass & wit matches his. She's independent, confident, sexy... all things Posey loves. Not to mention the spice between these two was HOT. So Posey isn't going to let her go this time, even if that means pissing off his coach.

It was so good. It was funny, it was hot, it was cute, it was emotional at times. I love Meghan's books, and this Agitators series is so fun & sexy!

I’ve loved this series since the first book and each book just gets better and better. I honestly think this book might be my favorite. From the text exchanges between the boys in each book to their banter, I fell in love with the Vancouver Agitators. Meddling Posey was prominent factor in each story and Meghan gave him the perfect story to close out the series. Definitely recommend this book and the entire series!

This was absolutely my favorite agitators book, I have laughed out loud through the others but my goodness is Levi ever funny and loveable. Absolutely obsessed and will probably read again I loved it so much. I also really loved how open and fluid their sexuality was alone and with each other. Definitely a must read!!!

This was my first book by Meghan Quinn and it will definitely not be my last! Although this is book 5 in the Vancouver Agitators series, it can be read as a stand-alone and I had no problem following along! I do want to read the first four books ASAP though!

I really enjoyed the author's writing style, lots of hilarious (Posey's awkward ramblings), spicy (très spicy), sweet and heartfelt moments.

I cackled and kicked my feet a lot while reading about the MCs' little "war" they had going on but I was really rooting for them to figure it out and get together already! And when they FINALLY get together, it felt so satisfying!

Levi and Wylie's chemistry was off the charts! I loved their easy banter, how comfortable and open they were with each other, and the no-3rd-act-break-up is always welcome!

Wylie was a great FMC, she was so fierce and independant! I really hated her dad for most of the book, so I might not be his biggest fan when I read the previous books!

If you're looking for a hilarious, sweet, forbidden romance with lots of spice, then I can't recommend this book enough!

Posey was everything I needed him to be and more. Now I need a whole coach wood book and I still need an OC book even if I understand why he's not getting one but I still want one. I'm so sad it's the end of this series.

I stumbled upon this one and hadn’t read the others in the series. It can totally be read as a standalone book.
This is so well written. It’s got the perfect mix of spicy and sweet. It is romantic but not sappy. I love the banter between the characters. Levi’s relationship dynamics are so relatable. You feel like you really KNOW Levi and Wylie. I don’t want to give too much away in the review, but it’s really a mostly positive, good vibe giving, sweet and sassy off limits type of romance.
My only criticism (my personal opinion and I understand that others don’t think it’s a big deal) is the expressions of frustration or pleasure with saying “Jesus” or “Christ” or “GD.” It’s not written in a derogatory sense per se, but just makes me cringe.

I don't know how she does it, but Meghan Quinn keeps delivering books that are so hilarious that you have to laugh out loud. So,this is war. It was so good. If I could give it infinity stars, I would. This book was perfection, the characters and their storylines had me hooked, it was great to finally read Levi's story after his significant role in the other books, it was great to see how he dealt with his new assistant and his coach's orders, knowing that he was going to have a hard time keeping his true feelings for Wylie at bay. Wylie was such an amazing character. She knew what she wanted and wasn't going to allow anything to stand in her way. The way that Wylie and Levi's relationship developed was so well written, I loved their shared love of bologna. The text messages between the guys and the girls when Posey was asking for advice were hilarious. This book was an amazing way to conclude a series that was phenomenal.

Well, that is the end of the Vancouver Agitators, and what a way to go! Levi has been talking about Wylie for a while now, ever since meeting and losing her at a hotel bar a year ago (without catching her name). So, to say that this man was distressed about her father, his coach, forcing him to hire Wylie as his personal assistant and make her life a living hell (I mean, a bagel run at 1 am, two nights in a row?) is an understatement. When she finds out about this, she is livid and makes his life a living hell (erotic torture commences). These two are something else, okay. But once they lay down their (metaphorical) weapons, they realize they are actually kind of perfect for each other. Now to convince her father of that...

Wylie is funny and so determined to make her own way. Her father? Well, he is a dick, and it is sad to read how, despite knowing what he has done, she is determined to prove to him that she can still follow her dreams and make him proud. It is heartbreaking to see how he just does not see that. The fact that Levi is the first man to support and believe in her is incredibly sad.

Levi is freaking amazing. Yes, he is goofy, says the weirdest things, and is obsessed with bologna, but this man cares so deeply about his people. Having read the previous books in this series, I already knew that, but it is so clear in this book. He is so supportive of Wylie's art, attentive, kind, and apparently kinky? Wow, who'd have thought?

It was great to see the girls come together to help him with Wylie and then later to see the guys ready to support and defend him!

As always, Meghan Quinn delivers, giving us a hilarious, spicy read that will have you laughing out loud one minute, swooning the next, and fanning your face the other.
Now, on to the next lovable hockey player, OC! What is he going to get himself into? 🏒❤️🔥
