A Court of Frost and Starlight (A Court of Thorns and Roses Book 4) Kindle Edition

A tender addition to the #1 New York Times bestselling Court of Thorns and Roses series by Sarah J. Maas, bridging the events of A Court of Wings and Ruin and upcoming books.

Feyre, Rhysand, and their friends are still busy rebuilding the Night Court and the vastly altered world beyond, recovering from the war that changed everything. But Winter Solstice is finally approaching, and with it, the joy of a hard-earned reprieve.

Yet even the festive atmosphere can't keep the shadows of the past from looming. As Feyre navigates her first Winter Solstice as High Lady, her concern for those dearest to her deepens. They have more wounds than she anticipated-scars that will have a far-reaching impact on the future of their court.
Bridging the events of
A Court of Wings and Ruin with the later books in the series, A Court of Frost and Starlight explores the far-reaching effects of a devastating war and the fierce love between friends.

The size of the paperback ACOFAS is not the same as the other books in the serie. A bit sad that it’s not the same size.

Loved the main characters and story.
A lot of powerful characters that could somehow never use their power when it was actually needed - only aggravating part. Love making scenes became too repetitive, I ended up skipping a few.

Overall, a great read to pass the time.

Overall I enjoyed this short interlude between the larger story. It was hard to get into at first, as it didn’t feel like much was happening, but it picked up near the end.

This book is starting to make me feel bad for Tamlin?? Everyone is going through so much after the war, and we get a glimpse into that as they prepare for Solstice.

There are a lot of cute moments, additional snippets into the minds and lives of the characters, and a REALLY great scene in the cabin with Feyre and Rhys. I’d recommend you read this even though it’s “just” a novella.

I expected the novella to not be as exciting but it was still important to read in my opinion :) still enjoyed it & had some really good moments to set up book 5

Love this whole series. Absolutely recommend. I had fallen out of love with reading, but picked up this series on recommendation from the entirety of book-tok. Safe to say, I've fallen back in love with reading, after this series, and will be checking out more of Sarah J Maas series!

I was so happy to find this series of books! Complex characters, beautiful dialogue, strong females, action, intrigue, twists and turns, it is heartbreaking, breathtaking, soul wrenching and up-lifting - bringing out all the feels. The world she creates is dynamic, devastating and delicious! Hot chemistry too! Each book delivers without fail. I didn't want the books to ever end.

Some pages the words were faded or not there. Not full pages; just sentences chunks.

Absolutely fantastic book though

5.0 out of 5 stars The "fluffy" novella we deserve!

I love this book! I know that it gets a bad rep in the ACOTAR series for being "all fluff," but I think it's fantastic. I like getting a glimpse into what happens to my favorite band of characters after the war with Hybern. I really enjoy the cabin chapter with Rhys & Feyre and honestly - all of the plot. It gives insight into characters we haven't gotten to see perspective from yet and how the tight knit family celebrates Solstice. It's light-hearted and I think it's a great book sandwiched in between two very heavy books in the series. Obviously, since it's part of ACOTAR, you can't skip it and shouldn't! It's great, and I'll always recommend it to anyone who will listen.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing short story book

I feel like this book gets ALOT of hate for not having a major plot line, but after ACOWAR and how intense that was I really feel like this book was necessary to break up the intensity and get you in a good mindset for the next book.

It’s got a great Christmasy vibe to it (i. Will definitely re read closer to the holidays) and it was so nice reading from different characters perspective.

Giving this a 5 star review isn’t hard, it is a great book I just feel like everyone is hating on it because not really alot happened. You could skip this book if you wanted to it wouldn’t make a difference to the series but to does give some great depth to the characters which I love!

Honestly if you just want recovery after the last one I 100% recommend this
