**Update June 28 - Amazon reached out and advised that they were sending me a new fire stick. I was actually surprised but I truly appreciate that! Since receiving the new fire stick, it’s been working really well and I’ve been able to really enjoy the product now. Thank you Amazon!

I don’t know if I got a defective fire stick but it keeps giving me trouble ever since I bought it. It shuts off on me, it doesn’t update properly. I’ve tried factory reset but nothing works. Piece of junk. I’m convinced they probably sent me one that was returned. Very disappointing.

I ordered this as a replacement for a Firestick system that I had for about 5 years, that finally "fried" I guess. The original was gifted to me, and was very easy to use (I'm a senior). I was anticipating $150.00 or more to replace it & it was only $35.00, with everything (cables, remote, etc) included. Luckily I have a very techy son, who set things up for me, and linked to my You Tube & Netflix very quickly. I would have found that part a bit over whelming.

I am so happy with this product & would highly recommend it. It satisfies all my TV needs & I can eliminate the local (and expensive) cable subscription.

Because I have an Amazon account, set up was a breeze.
I have a home network and set up a TV on my deck under the gazebo. As soon as I connected the firestick to an hdmi port it started searching for my network. Found it immediately and because my password was known to Amazon it connected immediately.
With a remote that is equipped with Alexa I have not searched all the features.

Bought this for a trip to England. Worked flawlessly - just make sure you have a foreign country adapter to power it up. Access to the HDMI plug on a TV is the only issue with travel. Not all hotels/bnb allow easy access to the back of a TV. Not a firestick problem.
