this has an artifical chemical smell.... in no way resembling vanilla. It works okay, but has an odd texture, almost like painter's caulk. ... i added a couple drops of lavender oil to disguise the chemical odour, and it is usable, but my skin feels uncomfortable after using so i would not recommend it for sensitive skin. though to be fair the irritation may have been caused by the lavender lol... the main reason I'm writing this review is to comment on advertisers tendency these days to just say anything random about a product even if it is not true.
