Works great, easy to setup, fixes dead spots and drops in the wifi
So far so good, only a few days but works as advertised. Setup on a Shaw router/wifi all in one system once it was running I turned off wifi on the shaw modem (using a windows PC) or you can call and have them put into bridge mode as two wifi systems will confuse many smart items. I have 47 smart devices, most were on 2.4g and some 5g, I had my Shaw router split so two passwords, one for 2.4 and one for 5. I setup the pods as the same name as my 2.4 system name and password and all of my switches and plugs and a few other devices were recognized, some of the 5G were recognized also. I did have to set up four or five items again, but that was all, and once signed in, they were recognized. Have not done any new 2.4g items since, so can’t speak to that, hoping the system will recognize the item and hookup. Anything capable of 5G automatically switches on to that system once signed in. I signed up the pod account with my Amazon account and everything worked flawlessly with echos and the alexa system, even found the echo clock and now uses it as an extra pod (I was not aware it had that capability. Have three pods and echo pod, so far it covers all of my home, 2 stories and 3300sqft and a good portion or the outside areas. One with the router in closet lower level central location, the other two on each side of the home, great coverage.

Update: Don't forget to turn off ipv6 in the system settings. I've been having lots of issues with Google nest products saying "hmm something went wrong". Turns out it's not fully supported by my ISP yet.
I've done a lot of reading/research on other competitions (such as netgear orbi, nighthawk, asus, etc), and the eero seems to stand out from all the reviews in terms of price-to-performance ratio.
Be sure to download the app first before you connect it to your cable modem. The app provides very good step-by-step instructions on how to setup your mesh network. While it does lack some of the more advanced functions compared to other routers out there, I'd have to say it's the easiest in getting your home wifi network up and running.
Unless you have gigabit internet, I'd say go for the eero 5 for now since you won't hit those crazy wifi 6 speeds anyway. I decided to get the eero 6+ for future proofing, and was able to consistently hit 75 Mbits/s download speeds (my max internet speed) using wifi. I was not able to get anywhere CLOSE to that speed with my previous routers that were sitting in the basement.
In terms of negatives, it doesn't seem to play well with my nest mini/nest hub -- the nest hub would say "something went wrong, please try again in a few seconds", and then on second try it would work. There's also no app to control your network from your PC -- everything has to be done through an android or ios device.
Overall, I highly recommend this router if you want fast wifi download speeds and something that's very easy to setup.

Pros: This was the easiest installation I've ever had! Literally plug it in and go! There's very little configuration settings for you to deal with & setting up the mesh was super easy.
Cons: Only 2 ethernet ports. You'll need 1 for the modem. IOT devices requiring 2.4Ghz may have issues. There is a Troubleshoot option where you can pause 5Ghz that should help things out.
Not Amazon's fault but you'll need to manually move over all of your IOT devices. It took me roughly 2min/device but I was also labelling them properly in the Eero app so I can tell what is active on the network etc.
