I've had the Dreame X30 Ultra Robot Vacuum for a few days now. The vacuuming, mapping, and especially mopping functions are super impressive! However, I'm experiencing a recurring problem with the crash sensor getting stuck even when there's nothing around, happening in the middle of hallways and open spaces. This issue occurs multiple times during cleaning, causing the vacuum to stop until I manually press the crash bar sensor a few times. Initially, I thought it was just my unit, but after researching online, I've found that many users report the same problem. This significantly reduces the convenience of leaving the house while the vacuum cleans, as I often return to find it stopped due to the crash sensor error, with no visible obstacles around.While the Dreame X30 Ultra excels in cleaning performance, the flawed obstacle detection and crash sensor issues make it unreliable for unattended cleaning; which is the main reason one would get a robot vacuum.Sadly I'm going to have to return it.

I love this thing. Highly recommend spending the time to once it creates it's own map to go through, mute out any areas that you don't need, set any "no go" zones, and then name each room. As well I then set a schedule where it does some rooms once a week, different days, other rooms several times a week, etc.

Keeps the floors amazingly clean. I moved into a new (used) house and the first week after mopping the water was pretty dirty. After a few times though now it's pretty clean and just maintaining the nice clean floors.

If you are thinking "I can just mop & sweep myself", if you are like me though and don't actually do those things regularly, this will keep your floors nice and spotless. Treat yoself!

I've owned the Dreame x30 for about three months and am thoroughly impressed. Transitioning from a Roomba J7+ that is only a couple of years old, this vacuum feels light years ahead.

The app might seem complex initially, but it offers an incredible variety of features. Once you understand it, this robot essentially takes care of floor cleaning for you. I have it set to clean high-traffic areas three times a week and other spaces once a week, always at 3 AM, so we wake up to pristine floors every day without even realizing it's been at work.

For a household with just my partner and me, no kids or pets, this machine is a game changer. It’s thoughtfully designed and doesn’t look like an eyesore. I'm a bit concerned about its longevity, having read negative reviews about their support, but I haven't had to deal with them yet and hope to keep it that way. Additionally, it's worth looking out for discounts, as the brand often offers them.

The Dreame x30 navigates beautifully without slamming into things like my Roomba did and handles flooring thresholds effortlessly. I maintain it carefully, treating it like the high-end piece of technology it is, and hope it continues to serve us well for years to come. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase.

EDIT: I’m changing my rating and my initial review. The noise complaint we had was caused by the small front wheel, which had debris stuck around its axel. Since cleaning it thoroughly, the robot has been working perfectly.

I purchased the Dreams X30 Ultra about two weeks ago. I’ve been very impressed with both its vacuuming and mopping performance; really, our floors have never been so clean, and cleaned so often!

its a good robot, the price just doesn't make any sense compared to l20 ultra or even l10s pro ultra. we need the x40 in canada, I cant recommend this robot when its a stop gap between the l20 and a meaningful jump in the x40. robots are too competitive now to pay over 2k for this

the meaningful upgrades from its predecessor the L20u are the smaller base (L20 base is ridiculously massive), non proprietary detergent, hot mop washing, and the self cleaning base. decent improvements, but not worth a 50% premium

based on this robot's capabilities, the main place I see dreame can directly improve it is in obstacle avoidance. it does a good job, dreame generally has great avoidance. but its gotten trapped a few times and has eaten cat toys and socks. I know, or at least hope, that you guys can do better with an update. at this price point and stage of maturity in the market im expecting perfection

suction seems on par with the L20, which was an average deep cleaner. I expected better, but they cant do anything about that now. again, this robot is a stop gap

ive had some strange glitching where the robot just stops mid job. im sure that will be fixed, but its a little odd and concerning

dreames, like most robots, are pretty loud. it would be nice to see them focus on that down the line

also dreame, please give colour choices. europeans get the much nicer white variants. I dont like black and gold. roborock gives choices, and im sure it helps them sales wise, despite dreame making the better robots. roborock just has better brand presence. if the roborock s8 pro ultra's mop didn't scratch up my hardwood, I would've never learned that dreame simply makes better robots

it sounds stupid, but I think im ultimately going to get an l10s pro ultra because of the colour. (these names are getting too confusing for people that aren't obsessed with robovacs. for real). the glitching is concerning, too. it might just be the model I bought? ill see if it resolves

id recommend this at $1550. at over 2k, I dont know. you'd have to be a willing spender, and at that point you might as well get gouged a little more on the X40 from amazons American side

mind you, all of the geolocked Chinese variants of these robots are not even half the price they are sold at on the rest of the planet. and they are usually better. there will be lots of space for dreame and the rest of these brands to adjust pricing as the robot market gets even more competitive down the line

as robot vacuum customers, there are bright days ahead for us. we are on the cusp of extremely good robots

However, now the base station does not work and there is no easy way to contact support. I am outside the return window and unsure what to do. Somewhat regretting my purchase and wish I got something that had a dedicated support team.

Updated june 18: support team replaced the unit and it is working great - appreciate the promptness and addressing my inquiry!

Si on compare avec la version L20 j ai attendu avoir un robot plus puissant et plus intelligent .
Il reste toujours difficile de monter petit tapis, la nettoyage de tapis je dirais moins efficace que la version précédente.
Le mapping! Il reste toujours à travailler avec. Robot se perd après des déplacement des objets.
Point positif : l application est améliorée, mais encore y a des menus non accessibles en pause.
Le prix augmenté par rapport l autre version L20 est non reasonable . Pas de grand différence avec l autre modèle moins poussant et l’eau chaude pour nettoyage on peut rajouter du robinet de début.
