These are fabulous shorts. You can not beat the price. They don't shrink, they don't fade, the color is vibrant. However, I feel the sizing varies from color to color. I also have the merlot pair and they are looser fitting than the navy. I would not size up as they are true to size, they just fit a bit differently. I like the fact that the leg openings are wider to accommodate larger legs. I have muscular skater legs and almost every pair of shorts I have tried make me feel like a sausage. These are not like that which is a thumbs up from me!

Bought at my usual size, size label on the band is correct but absolutely does NOT fit. Which is a shame, cause the colour and feel of the fabric are lovely. This seems to run contrary to other reviews, so I might have just gotten a dud.
