This case has a front plate as well as heavy duty. Im only giving it 4 star because i dont know how waterproof it is as you can see a section where headphones connect as well where the speaker is, so its possible for the water to get in that way. I would not try it with your phone it in. If your looking for a heavy duty case, this is it.

Like the title says, this "waterproof" case leaks like a sieve. It says it can be underwater for an hour at 6'/2m it was under water for 10 minutes at less than 2 feet and it had water in it and then once there was some water in, it just came. In quickly and within 45 minutes it was nearly full. Thankfully phones these days are also waterproof. The worst part is even when I would leave the water and dry it off, when I would seal it back up again, it would get foggy and then I could no longer take pictures. Extremely frustrating, I would never buy this case again. 1/5 because I could still take some photos underwater or while I was in the water before it was full of water or fogged up

NOT waterproof as advertised. Used it while efoiling. Didnt even submerge it for long. It only went underwater when I fell off into the water. Salt water got in. Google ingress protection is lousy too, so water got in and phone was wrecked.

Most ironic, because I had been using a waterproof bagm but bought this precisely to take nice pics on water. If you must have a waterproof case, you have no choice but to get a case like this. But do a submerge test first.

海に出る前もケースに入れて使っていたのが行けないのかな？
海に入る直前に船の上で出し入れすべきだった？

シュノーケリングでの使用だったので２メートルも潜ってない。
時間も5分〜10分位でずっと潜っていた訳では無いです。水面に漂っていることの方が多かった。

水中での操作も誤作動が多く画面のシャッターボタンは押せないので側面のボタンをシャッターにしておく事が必要。
オススメできない。

This case adds bulk in the best way. I am heavy handed. The pixel 5 is a six inch phone, but not in the way the Nexus 6 was six inches. It feels small and to me it's well built but still I was scared of dropping it.

This case makes it easy to grip. Also I love the polycarbonate back. You can use something like a Dbrand skin with the case and still get all the customized looks.

Now the bad. The front touch screen could use an oleophobic coating. Not sure what that would mean for cost but this thing picks up finger grease.

Next, let's look at the fingerprint sensor cover... It has one and it can take just a bit of the sensor sensitivity down. Plus I am concerned by how well it will hold up over time since it's thin and also attracts body oils. Grease and plastics are not friends.

Lastly, I live on my speaker phone for work and personal calls when I am alone. Alone for me is often in the panorama of 2020. The case essentially killed my speaker mic. I either sounded muffled or distant the moment I put the case on. That's a major gripe for me. I have zero ideas on fixing this.

That said, it's the only deal breaker. This is truly a well built case that I'd throw against Otterbox on any day.

Update: The speaker phone issues where just a matter of break in. I use the speaker all the time. It's loud and clear. All of the finger oil issues were much adue about nothing. So yeah? All the clear parts show prints. BLAH... this case is a Tank disguised as a Corvette.

Buy it... I wish they made a case for the next phone I am getting. I fell in love with this one.

 This is the best phone case I've ever had. I actually bought my first one in October last year and I'm only getting a new one because there is a tiny tear on the fingerprint sensor. It still functions great I'm just preparing in case it gets worse. I drop my phone constantly and you can't even tell. It's also waterproof, assuming you make sure it's securely on there. Went swimming with penguins and used my phone to take some underwater videos and my phone was completely fine. However the small price you have to pay is you lose the ability to use the speakerphone function. I've been told many times that it's very hard to understand my side of the conversation if I have my phone on speakerphone and it's just due to everything to make sure the phone case can keep your phone safe. This phone is great for anyone that is super active but I recommend getting some Bluetooth headphones if you're looking for a handsfree conversation.
