Its design and choice of materials far surpass those of similar products I've used. I am especially fond of the color selection; the combination of beige and gold lends it a classy appearance that perfectly exemplifies the vintage aesthetic.

The printer's NIIM app is among the best device-specific apps I've encountered. It's user-friendly, and the aligning and sizing tools allow you to design complex and unique labels.
Some reviewers have mentioned grievances about the app and the amount of paid content available, but I didn't find it intrusive. There's a considerable assortment of free fonts, borders, and icons to choose from when designing your label. You can even share your creation with other app users or use the ones they've shared. If I had one criticism, it would be that I would have preferred items to be sold in packs rather than as a subscription, allowing me to own specific items forever rather than access everything temporarily.

I was pleased with the print quality; all my labels were clear and printed quickly. I found the darkest setting produces the best results. Since it prints on tape, it's possible to create longer labels; despite the width being only 0.6 inches, the maximum length is 11.8 inches. I also appreciated how pushing the button on the top of the device trims the label.

The device charges with a USB-C cable, which takes two or three hours and seems to last a long time. I was happy to see that it has a feature that turns the printer off after a period of inactivity, which helps conserve the battery life.
