I struggled for 3 months on which brand and functionality my chalet needed. BTW: I have an Aussie so pet hair is a parameter that must be addressed, and he also drools in the kitchen making it a messy floor. I purchased a really viable Lefant as my first option but with limited M%p functionality. I soon realized that one needed a more comprehensive unit and researched again. There are as many brands as there are Smart Bulb colors, so the task was overwhelming. I did not want to wait for a Black Friday special as living in the hinterland one needs to get the job done pronto, and lethargy cost time and money. Mapping was very efficient about 2 hours of time but ensure everything is picked up, believe me Lidar is a charm like for precise detection (not unlike my highly intelligent Aussie). I have one strap that I did not pick up but the rubber (necessary) roller brush gave me a notification and "whammo" it did no damage to the brush or baggage strap. The L10 Ultra noted the stairs drop rite away via AI - a real +.
The next test was the mop function and at first it seemed to ignore tough spills in my basement, but I added some cleaner manually (a supposed no..no) and voila the 1800 RPM brushes(2) cleaned it up like a charm. It is a little finicky and wants a frequent shower in that it navigates to the mop cleaner in the base station very frequently.
Some reviewers complain about the Db level (about 65 Db) in the mop cleaning/dust discharge mode. "Cmon": folks this is very acceptable as the unit is doing its job for 45+ seconds and if one cannot tolerate this how can one tolerate your dog's bark at the courier or nosy neighbor.
The only issue thusfar is that the Alexa App via Echo Dot is not quite as reliable as one would like it to be. I expect "Dreametech" to have Firmware update to meet this minor challenge as the bandwidth I have is sufficient but maybe one needs to deploy a Wi Fi extender for areas with barriers like my basement.
I cud go and on but the L10S option for a few dollars more now on Black Friday my have been my 1st choice, but its only enhancement it a hot mop drying mode. Just empty the grey water tank after every use and mold or smell is not an issue and a heater is not energy efficient usage IMHO so why add another variable with additional unecessary energy costs - IMHO just another differentiator that one does not need for say 50 bux more.
Very satisfied with the L10 Ultra, and although I consider myself to be very tech saavy - there may be time when I have to call support for assistance but this is an unknown variable so 5**** home appliance if you want to ditch the old vacs and migrate to a Smart Home environment and detest housework like I do..
