Is eufyCam 3 compatible with Apple HomeKit?

No. It is compatible with Alexa and the Google Assistant currently. HomeKit is still undergoing development, please stay tuned!

Is eufyCam 3C compatible with the eufy Solar Panel Charger?

No. But it will become compatible by the end of 2022 with the addition of a converter.

Is HomeBase 3 compatible with other eufy Security products?

HomeBase 3 is compatible with all eufyCam models, eufy Battery Doorbells (except T8213), and eufy Sensors. It will be compatible with all eufy Security devices by half way through 2023, with the exception of eufy Wired Doorbell.

What kind of hard drive can I use to expand the storage of HomeBase 3?

Any hard drive that has a 2.5" size and a SATA interface.

Does the system support 24/7 recording?

No. The camera is battery-powered and is designed to offer a balance between battery life and event capturing.

*If you choose to use cloud-based features such as cloud storage or push notifications with thumbnail previews, videos or thumbnail previews will be sent to the cloud as needed to provide your selected features.

I switched from the Arlo system and am seriously impressed with its battery life and resolution. If you’re thinking of making the jump from Arlo - DO IT!!!

One downvote is that the motion sensor doesn’t seem to catch activity on the corners & edges of the field of view. This isn’t a problem if you have a smaller property like a townhouse, semi, new build detached, but if you should consider getting extra cameras for full coverage if you have a wider lot.

Time will tell how it holds up to Canadian winter.

I did search extensively for home camera system and I came on this kit. Quite frankly, I really like it ! The video resolution is great, installation is a breeze and love the home base where you can add an SSD Drive and extend the capacity. No problem with the installation. Cameras are approx 15-20 feets from the home base and still WiFi signal at the maximum. It's been 2 weeks not and the battery are still full charge, and we experienced temperature drop to -15 Celsius couple of nights. I recommend those cameras all the way !

If your mounting location is in the sun get the s330 cameras. Otherwise these are good. Should have the anti theft alarm like the s330 though. I guess because they are much smaller than the s330 they couldn’t add that feature. 4K detail is great especially for zoom.

The product itself is great, I purchased these because I liked that it was both 4K and had the spotlight feature on it. That would be a major deterrence towards anyone attempting to approach vehicles parked in our driveway at night. I am happy with the picture of the camera and love the spotlight feature, I also have it hooked up with a Eufy solar panel so it stays constantly charged at 100%. I remain loyal to Eufy thanks to their no monthly subscription fees and also there have been a few occasions I have had to contact customer support with some issues, and their customer service/support is absolutely top-notch! Most companies these days have terrible customer service, but you can always count on Eufy customer support to be there to help you and do the right thing if you have any issues! Highly recommend!

The only mild negative I will say about this product is it since it is the smaller camera (the “C” series), the motion detection is not quite as good at picking things up as the larger Eufy cameras. Which quite frankly is to be expected since the motion detection sensor itself is smaller because the entire camera is smaller. But it still works as expected!

These cameras work well, and have a great picture quality. I really just hate the app and the lack of intuitive features. I want my security cameras “armed” all the time, however I don’t want a notification going off on my phone EVERY SINGLE TIME IT SPOTS ME!! ITS MY HOUSE! I LIVE HERE! I KNOW IM AT MY DOOR! You’d think with the “smart” facial recognition feature it would learn to ignore the homeowners presence. But no
 it just tells you you’re spotted at your door.
So I turn them off. And they stay off. And they’re useless.

Note to UI designers: add a household faces feature so the household isn’t harassed 24/7 by their own presence. The cameras already recognize my face, so why not make it useful and let me decide who’s a friendly face and who isn’t?

Update: also please make these compatible with HomeKit. It’s 2024 and I’m tired of being victimized for being an iPhone user.
