Works great for rock hunting and other stuff
It’s so fun to look at rocks and how some glow different colours! It’s not the strongest light ever but it works great. And yes it also highlights any stains on your walls and floors…I also tested it with some gel nail polish and it also fully cures it! I assume resin would work similarly but can’t test

I was actually surprised how well this worked! (My first time rockhounding ? For yooperlites or anything with fluorescence) It has some decent beam throw so I saw this rock from a couple metres away.
The filter seems to work well.
Keep in mind I have zero previous experience UV rockhounding - I would definitely buy this again and recommend as a cheap option that seems to give good results.
Be sure to get yourself some UV protective glasses. The UV light that bounces up is enough to make your eyes sore so take precautions.
